Meredith + Andrew Highlights
The always festive Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort was bursting with energy over Memorial Day weekend, and not just with holiday crowds. Meredith and Andrew's wedding ceremony in the resort's beautiful Hummingbird Garden, and then an elegant reception in one of Tamaya's grand ballrooms, were perfect backdrops for the excitement and romance of their celebration. What an honor to be a part of it.

Shoes for the Santo Niño - Next Day Edit
Between weddings this summer, I had the privilege to sit in on a great collaboration between the UNM Children's Chorus and the Santa Fe Opera. They're teaming up to create a brand new children's opera, based on a story written by New Mexico author Peggy Pond Church.
This "next day edit" offers a behind-the-scenes look at the hard work going into the production.

Heidi + Mitch Highlights
I've known Mitch for nearly a decade, working with him on TV news assignments way back when and even shooting a wedding or two together. So when he asked me to join him and his beautiful bride-to-be Heidi for their Las Vegas, NV wedding earlier this year I jumped at the chance to produce their wedding film. Mitch is one of the nicest guys I know, and he was one of the happiest, most excited grooms I've ever worked with. That I expected, especially after I met Heidi. She is so gracious and kind, and they are so perfect together. One thing I didn't expect or really know about Mitch, however, was his affinity for singing - bursting spontaneously into song at unexpected moments. So this highlights clip is really a serenade to his new wife. Thanks so much guys for having me be a part of your celebration!

On the run for a good cause...
Former US Army Special Forces medic Neal Riley likes to run - he always has - competing in ultra marathons and other long distance events for the challenge and fun.
But since he returned from a tour in Iraq a few years ago, he began running for another reason - to help his fellow soldiers who were injured or didn't return home. Now he races to raise money for those veterans and their families, supporting different charities with each race.
You can learn about his latest challenge and how you can support the cause at run4vets.blogspot.com. This year, Neal is helping Horses for Heroes, a horse therapy wellness program for combat veterans who've suffered physical injuries or trauma: horsesforheroes.blogspot.com
When I first learned about Neal's project and his running addiction, I asked a simple question - "Why do you like to run?" This short video has his answer - shot on a recent sunny (but windy) morning in the beautiful Cerrillos Hills south of Santa Fe.

Trinh + Thien | Downtown Albuquerque Wedding Photography
I'm so excited to be working on Trinh and Thien's wedding film, following their big celebration in Albuquerque this month - the couple was so stylish and fun-loving, which shined through all day long! I hope to have the film posted soon. In the meantime, here's a taste of the day, from Triple 8 photography - Sophia and Tim are a great team, with a great eye for light and color, and they produced some gorgeous images.
